At Yamado Inn, you can enjoy the great outdoors, baths flowing with natural hot spring water, and the culinary delights northern Tohoku has to offer. In our region, people who work in the mountains and those know mountains well are known as “Yamado.” The beauty and bounty of the mountains- this is what we would like our guests to discover and experience during their stay at Yamado.

 

“Yuba Issun” Open-Air Bath

Please enjoy our open-air bath by a mountain stream. The open-air bath can be used by suite guests only by reservation (free of charge). From the open-air bath, you can enjoy watching the fish swimming in the stream. Or you may like to enjoy night bathing under the starry sky. Hours : 15:00-22:30 / 5:30-10:00

Private Guest Suite Bath

Every guest suite has a private, semi open-air bath flowing with 100% natural hot spring water. You can enjoy bathing in the hot spring baths any time you like, 24 hours a day.

Hot spring composition and effects.

The spring contains sodium sulfate and chloride. It is effective for cuts, burns, chronic skin disease, physically weak children, chronic women’s diseases, and arterial sclerosis

Seizanro

Suites :Moegi, Shinryoku, Nishiki, and Sekka

All suites in Seizanro are maisonettes with a loft space. The first floor has a living room and a bathroom, and the second floor has a bedroom. These are double- or triple-occupancy rooms, and each bedroom is equipped with Simmons beds for a comfortable night’s rest. You can connect your laptop to the Internet using a LAN cable (no charge). You can use your iPod with the BOSE audio system in your room, which produces a beautiful sound.

Rokkabo

Suites : Fukinoto, Katakago, Hitsujigusa, and Yukitubaki.

A small river runs by each room. You can view the river from the deck and the bathroom. There are double-occupancy rooms and triple-occupancy rooms, all equipped with Simmons beds for comfortable night’s rest (a double bed or twin beds (+1)). You can connect your laptop to the Internet using a LAN cable (no charge). You can enjoy the beautiful sound of our BOSE audio system in your room.

Rokujubo

Suites :Buna, Mizuki, Kuromoji, and Katsura

The Rokujubo suites have larger rooms and bathroom than those in Rokkabo. These are the most luxurious suites we offer. There are double-occupancy rooms and triple-occupancy rooms, all equipped with Simmons beds for comfortable night’s rest (a double bed or twin beds (+1)). From Tokyo
Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen Line, change to the JR Kitakami Line at Kitakami Station, and get off at Hotto Yuda Station. From Hotto Yuda Station, it takes 10 minutes by taxi or route bus.
From Akita
Take the JR Ou Honsen Line, change to the JR Kitakami Line at Yokote Station, and get off at Hotto Yuda Station.

By Car

From Tokyo
Take the Tohoku Expressway. At Kitakami Junction, take the Akita Expressway and get off at Yuda IC toward Yugawa Onsen. It takes about 15 minutes from Yuda IC.

Direct flights to Akita Airport
are available from Haneda, Osaka (Itami), Nagoya (Komaki), Nagoya (Chubu Centrair International), Sapporo (Shin-Chitose), and Seoul (Incheon).
From Akita Airport (by car)
From Akita Airport IC, take the Japan Sea Tohoku Expressway toward Kawabe Junction. From Kawabe Junction take the Akita Expressway tDirect flights to Iwate-Hanamaki Airport are available from Osaka (Itami) and Sapporo (Shin-Chitose).oward Kitakami, and get off at Yuda IC toward Yugawa Onsen. It takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes from the airport.(Incheon).
From Iwate-Hanamaki Airport
From Hanamaki Airport IC, take the Kamaishi Expressway toward Hanamaki Junction. From Hanamaki Junction take the Tohoku Expressway toward Tokyo. From Kitakami Junction take the Akita Expressway and get off at Yuda IC toward Yugawa Onsen. It takes about 1 hour from the airport.
